Announcements:
Please make sure students are not bringing outdoor jackets to wear in the classroom. (Hooded, designs) Science packet needs to be coming to school daily with students, and they should be working on this every night. Next Monday 1/21 is MLK day there is no school and no tutoring. Please sign up to help volunteer for Field day on January 25th. Academics: Spalding: We will be entering list 18 and testing on week 17 words Language Arts: We are going over Comparison Ajectives then will have our Grammar test 10 on Tuesday. We will be working on our benchmarks in reading and writing the rest of the week. Reading: We will be working on our study guide and test for summary and theme which we will test on Tuesday. Then we will work on our benchmark and finish out the week with our book studies. Math: We are working on multiplying 3 digit numbers, and displaying data using graphs. We will havea study guide for test 11 on Wednesday and test on Thursday. Then we will have a benchmark on Friday. Science: We are going to be going over the scientific method on Monday, and form predictions on Tuesday. On Wednesday we will be in Miss Magnusen’s room where she will walk the classes through the expectations of the science fair packet for the question on pages 11-12 and answer questions students may have. On Thursday we will have a lab safety power point and end the weeo back in Miss Magnusen’s room where she will explain the Reference page and Book Report to the students. Social Studies: We will be doing a Skills lesson on Fact and Opinion and go into lesson 3 in unit 3 of our social studies book. Comments are closed.
