Please know that they are subject to change as needed. We hope that this website, including the newsletters, have been helpful to you. Academics: *Since we have a 2-day academic week, students are reviewing and using some previous spelling words to write letters or stories. *In Language/Writing, students have Grammar Lesson 43 that reminds us when NOT to capitalize words. Also, in Lessons 44 and 45, they will learn more about identifying and using prepositional phrases and the objects of prepositions. They will be diagramming prepositional phrases as adjectives. For Writing, students will be finishing up their factual analysis essays about Lou Gehrig. *In Reading, we are continuing our Book Studies. *In Math, students are on Lesson 45, learning definitions and reviewing properties such as Associative, Commutative, and Distributive Properties. They will also have worksheets about the use of parentheses in the order of operations. *Because of the Spelling Bee on Monday afternoon and the Turkey Trot Tuesday afternoon we will be doing little or no Science or Social Studies. In Science, if we do get to it, we will read and discuss pages B71-75 about Ecosystem Changes. Comments are closed.
