Our Learning this Week:
In Spalding, we will enter list 22 and be tested on list 21.
In language/writing, we will learn about suffixes, prefixes, and apostrophes. We will complete grammar lessons 71-75. We will write a five paragraph persuasive essay, focusing on varied sentence fluency and excellent word choice.
In reading, we will continue our study of text structure. We will read an example of a text in chronological order: Wong Ming Chung in the Open Court text. There will be a test over this story on Wednesday. We will also read examples of texts with a compare/contrast text structure.
In math, we will study angles and circles. We will have a study guide Wednesday for the math test Thursday. Friday, we will complete lesson 76.
In science, we will continue our study of metric and customary measurement.
In social studies, we will have a quiz over unit 2 lesson 3 on Monday. We will read unit 2 lesson 4.
