Announcements-
-There is no school Monday the 15th. -Please be sure to have students be looking through their science fair projects to come up with a problem. -Spirit day is on Friday, students may wear spirit shirts, and we will have an assemble at 8:15 - Name number and date must be on every paper turned in. -Please be sure to notify your teacher by Sunday night if your child is going to attend that weeks tutoring. -We need more volunteers to help grade. If you are able to please reach out to your teacher to volunteer and get your hours in for the month. Academics- Spalding- We will be entering list 18 and testing on week 17 words Language Arts- We will go through capital letters, parts of speech suffixes (ion, ity, ous, and ful ), and we will go over onomatopeias. We will also go through Grammar lessons 61-64. For writing we will continue with out theme essay Reading- We will read Message by the Mile and go over main idea and supporting details. We will have an assessment that the students can use their books for as well. Math- Along with our timed tests we will cover lessons 61-63 in Saxon. Science- We will review observation and inference, and introduce the scientific method to students. We will also get together as an entire 4th grade and go over pages 11-12 in our science fair packet in detail again so they have more opportunity to hear how to do the project. Social Studies- We will read about timelines and then get into unit 2 lesson 1 Spanish in North America. Comments are closed.
