Announcements:
*The Scientist Biography and Research are due next Monday, February 5th. Please see the due dates inside the Science Project packet to help you keep up with each step of the Science Project. *Spirit Day Assembly is this coming Friday, February 2nd, at 8:15 AM on the basketball court. Academics: *In Spalding, students will enter List 20 and be tested on List 19. *In Language, we will complete Grammar Lessons 66, 67, and 68 (with emphasis and lessons on the comma). *In Writing, students will write essays comparing and contrasting two poems. *In Reading, we will focus on Author's Purpose and Main Idea/Supporting Details. We will also continue reading and discussing vocabulary and elements of literature in our Book Studies. *In Math, we will complete Lesson 66 (similar and congruent figures), Lesson 69 (millimeters), and Lesson 70 (Word problems about fraction of a group). On Thursday there will be Study Guides (13A) to prepare for Friday Tests 13B - Saxon and Galileo tests. *In Science, on Monday there is a lesson and demonstration of the Rough Draft and Graphs/Tables for help with the Science Project.
