Announcements:
*The Scientist Biography and Research are due next Monday, February 5th. See due dates in Science packet. *Spirit Day Assembly on Friday, February 2, at 8:15 AM Academics: *In Spalding, we will enter List 20 and be tested on List 19. *In Language, we will complete Grammar lessons 66, 67, and 68 (with more lessons on the comma). *In Writing, we will write essays comparing and contrasting two poems. *In Reading, we will focus on Author's Purpose and Main Idea/Supporting Details. We will also continue reading and discussing vocabulary and literary elements through our Book Studies. *In Math, we will have lessons on similar and congruent figures, millimeters, and word problems about fraction of a group (Lessons 66, 69, and 70). On Thursday, there will be Study Guides 13A in preparation for the Saxon and Galileo tests on Friday (13B). *In Science, there is a presentation in Ms. Magnusen's room to help students with their Rough Drafts and Graphs/Charts/Tables (for showing data in their projects). Also during the week we will be learning about Measuring Units and States of Matter. In Social Studies, we will be focusing on Unit 2, Lesson 2 this week. Comments are closed.
